1 roll of butter puff pastry
1/3 cup of grated Truffle Gouda (you can use Havarti or regular Gouda)
1/3 cup of grated Apple wood smoked cheddar bothwell naturally smoked
1/3 cup of grated Parmesan quiche
1 cup of white and red chopped onions
2 tea spoons of chopped capers
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh thyme, oregano and garlic chives
1/2 grated carrot
1/2 grated zucchini
1 kale leave chopped
2 table spoon of corn
salt and pepper
4 brown eggs
1 cup of butter milk
1 table spoon of butter
1 table spoon of garlic olive oil
sprinkle sesame seeds
How to prepare it :
take the pastry from the freezer and let it room temperature for 30 min. Than get a glass safe oven container for quiche / pies and spray some canola oil on the botton and add the pastry on top, pre heat the oven to 400 F abd add the pastry there for 20 min.
Meanwhile you add the butter and oil and fry the onions first until transparent, than add the herbs, for one minute than add the mixture of Carrots and Zucchini and for the last, the kale and turn off the heat. Than try to get out all the liquid remaining on that mixture.
In a bowl, mixture the butter milk with the 4 eggs and add the capers.
Take that baked pastry out of the oven and add the veggies mixture than the grated cheeses and the liquid mixture to cover everything.
Put in the oven 400 F for 20 min than 10 extra minutes on 300 F.
Wait to cool down a bit before you serve it.
